In Å
Å in Lofoten is one of the most well-preserved traditional fishing villages in Norway.
All the old wooden buildings are listed on the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historical Interest. Located at the very end of European highway 10, Å is by many considered as the most beautiful part of Lofoten.
You experience an impressive panorama here. With the spectacular Lofotveggen mountains towering in the background, you have a view across the sea to the Norwegian mainland, the Vestfjorden fjord and the Moskstraumen tidal current.
